  • Bridal makeup typically takes about one hour per person, ensuring everyone is ready without feeling rushed.
  • The bride should not be first or last in the order. Aim to have them almost ready when the photographer arrives.
  • Delegate answering questions to a bridesmaid or other party member during the bride’s makeup.
  • Mothers should be near the front of the order as they are very busy on the day.
  • I do my best work when the bride is undistracted and can sit quietly for a full hour.
  • I will need a window with bright light to do my best work.
  • I will need a tall stool for you to sit on and table to work from but I do carry my own table and chair just incase.

Wedding makeup trial

I recommend doing a wedding makeup trial before you wedding. There is a chance that your makeup will not be picture perfect if we have to switch up the look.

Wedding grooming services

If you don’t want to look like you wear makeup but want to look polished in your photos, consider booking a grooming service. Grooming is a unique style of makeup that is applied in a way that makes it almost invisible. Dark eye circles, dull skin, contouring, redness in the face and pimples are the focus when performing a grooming application.  Oily or shiny areas are made matte to ensure they do not create hot spots in photographs.

My grooming service is ideal for people that do not wear makeup but want to ensure they look polished in their wedding photos.
